Raising the Bar

The Office of Enrollment Management advances the University of Oregon's tradition of excellence by enrolling and retaining high-achieving scholars from Oregon, around the country, and across the world.

The UO continues to achieve unprecedented levels of success in enrollment. The past few years have seen the UO set historic records in total enrollment as well as the academic quality and diversity of incoming classes—and 2012 was no exception. Total enrollment reached near 25,000. For the second year in a row, the incoming class was the most diverse in university history, and traditionally underrepresented students accounted for 25 percent of the class, which surpasses the diversity of the state of Oregon. Record growth in international enrollment was also achieved, and international students made up 10 percent of the student body. All 50 states and nearly 100 countries are represented by students on campus.

The Office of Enrollment Management serves prospective students, current students, and their families through each phase of the enrollment process: the college search, admission, registration, financial aid, matriculation, and onward to graduation.

The Enrollment Management team works to connect prospective and current students with the wide array of offerings at the University of Oregon. Renowned faculty scholars lead the nearly 270 comprehensive academic programs, many of them ranked among the best in the world. The UO’s rich student life includes more than 250 student organizations and plenty of chances to cheer on the Oregon Ducks at raucous Autzen Stadium or historic Hayward Field. We invite you to visit our gorgeous campus, nestled in a 295-acre arboretum, to see all the UO has to offer and experience Oregon at its best.
